  • Dr.
    Julija Cartelli
    DMD
    Doctor

Born and raised in Lithuania, her mother, who was also a dentist, has always been Dr. Cartelli's role model. So it's no surprise that she followed in her foot steps and became a dentist also! Dr. Cartelli studied dentistry at the Kaunas University of Medicine for five years, where she graduated with a Masters Degree in dental medicine. Following graduation she began practicing dentistry in her mother's office until the love of her life, Vincenzo, asked her to marry him and move to the United States and reside in Boca Raton, Florida.

Shortly after their wedding she was accepted to the Nova Southeastern University International Dentist Graduate Program, where she studied an additional three years and received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree. In 2011 the Cartelli family decided to move to Cape Coral, where it is a more relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, to raise their three beautiful children.

In her spare time, Dr. Cartelli enjoys traveling, watching movies and reading books. She is extremely interested in alternative medicine as well as the holistic aspect of dentistry. She learned from her mother how important it is to treat all people, especially her patients, with fairness, respect and understanding. She strives to offer the best quality of dentistry according to each patient's needs and desires.

What Our Clients Say About Us

I just want to thank Dr. Cossentino for giving me my life back!  She is the best dentist I have ever been to. Caring! Treating me like family!! The staff is awesome.  They also went out of their way to make a scaredy-cat patient like me feel safe and comfortable.  Told me everything they were going to do to me and reassured me every step of the way.  And I can say she was so concerned for my pain, that if I just blinked, (yeah) she was like are you ok?  It made me feel so good and special inside, that she would care so much.  You know nowadays with telemedicine and the world as we have come to know, it is exceptional to find such wonderful and caring health care professionals! Love you guys! (I really don’t want to tell everyone because I want to keep these awesome people to myself) But, really I can’t keep other scaredy-cat people from great awesomeness care!  Oh and make sure when you make your appointment that Stephanie dental assistant is working too.  I can’t say enough about the extra time and effort she will add to your experience!

I had an amazing experience at Surfside Dental. The staff is very friendly, and most importantly, my hygenist was just SUPER...Edma was extremely thorough in my exam and the cleaning was completely painfree for the first time in my life! Dr. Cartelli gave me very important advice. I would highly recommend visiting this practice!!!

They are amazing!!! After being told my wife and I need thousands of dollars of work done by another place we went here for a second opinion. Long story, short neither of us had the cavities they said we did and the new crown or pull the tooth with reconstructive jaw work to be done as part of it turned out to be pull, clean an existing crown and re attach it. Very nice and clearly honest.
